Past Events and Accomplishments for 2015
January 25, 2015 - The Friends of the Ruskin Library in partnership with the Firehouse Cultural Center, presented author Tess Gerritsen as she discussed Die Again, her latest book in the New York Times bestselling Rizzoli & Isles series. She signed books that were offered for sale by our local Barnes & Noble, and a portion of the profits were given to the Friends of the Ruskin Library to help with our fundraising efforts. Thank you to all who helped make this a successful event!
April 11, 2015 - The Friends of the Ruskin Library was notified that our grant request for "Celebrating the History of South Shore" was approved. Thank you to The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, and the South Shore Council. The grant will be used to pay for the History of South Shore event, a display case for historical and community items, and book bags.
